Great to see my Happy Cow print on the wall in the latest Sky TV ad with the amazing Mr Elba. What good company she is keeping. Prints
This is a commission from earlier this year and is such a beautiful bird, blue-grey above with a blackish top of the head and white face, and sadly still killed to prevent predation on game birds.
Another commission from this year - a blue-ringed crayfish. Exquisite creatures of such intricacy. They regularly moult off their entire exo-skeleton and emerge brand new underneath.
Hare 20, Coal tit and Frigatebird are on show as part of the Shard Elevate_Art exhibition from February 7 - April 30 2019. A radical change of habitat for all of them.
Cyril was commissioned this spring for a small girl after she became fascinated by the squirrel activity in her back garden. Cyril sits and eats his breakfast most mornings on the patio table and comes and goes - along with several friends - throughout the day, provoking much delight and hilarity.
If there's a particular creature you love and you would like to have a portrait made of them, please get in touch to discuss .
This year, I have been taking my hare images to exciting new places. They are now available as limited edition prints, 100% cotton tea towels and as a boxed set of 8 greetings cards. Perfect for thank you letters or just to say a cheery hello to the animal lover in your life. Have a look at the Gifts section, where you will also find some bird activity too.
If you would like to come to the studio and see the current work, then do get in touch to make an appointment.
In December 2018, I worked in partnership with the exciting new paint company Craig and Rose to create a collage made entirely from swatches of their paint. Six weeks and many hues of blue, grey, brown, black and cream later, a large and multi-layered Rook emerged and sat proudly in the window watching the passers-by.
In December 2018, we at Chiswick Creatives ran our first pop-up in The Old Cinema Chiswick as part of the annual Frost Fair. We showcased textiles, ceramics, glass, cards, prints, homeware and so much more. It was a huge success and we hope to be back there again this coming December.
